There are only 2 stickys in this section which are basic pointers to websites, however the same questions get asked time and time again and the same people get asked time and time again, only for our breath to get wasted when the newbies dont ever come back.

Can we not put a sticky of a collection of peoples real life advice re visas, work permits, places to rent, cost of living, cultural differences, etc etc. that will stay there and be something for newbies to access readily without us having to repeat ourselves?

Apart from merging threads already there, I and others would probably be willing to contribute if it means we never have to repeat it over and over again like we are now.

LS I think the reason people just come on and ask off the bat is because they don't look first. We can stick all the threads we want but if they don't look at it they'll still ask the same questions over and over.
