I love Mobay and I will be there next month to see my husband and just people that I know and it will be my 20th trip in 5 years going to Jamaica....I love going to the Dead-end--- especially when the streets are filled with all the partying and dancing. There you can sit and eat and watch the planes coming down low landing at the end of the runway at Sangster Airport --Just one of the reasons why I request sitting on the right side of the plane so that I can see the dead-end as I come in then I know I am home(adopted)-- for sure.....
I do eveything local in Mobay-Aqua Sol is my favorite beach and Nyam Jam is my favorite place to eat and drink and I love to go to the casino to listen to live entetainment and I have been to the Brewery and Sundaze but I think that closed-not sure. There is a new jazz club next door to Margaritaville--I am going to check it out next month.....
When I walk down hip strip the Jamaican people know who I am-- because I am not a stranger to the area--I also have my cell phone on hand...My husband said for me not be from Jamaica I know more people then he does and he lives there--I am just a people person----Once my friend girl wanted me to ride the tour bus with her and I really didn't want to get on the bus because I have graduated from being a tourist but I said okay-and I ended up being the tour guide that day-- LOL LOL LOL--- and the bus driver was amazed at how much I knew about Mobay...
My husband also says I don't never sit still---He is from St. Ann but lives in Mobay area now--He tells people--My wife she no scared she goes everywhere--I can certainly tell you though--there's no party in the valley of Jamaica that can compare to the parties in the mountains-- Wow! and I have a ball--I also have partied in Anchovy---and in alot of off the beatin places in Mobay like creek street.....
I also know some people in Flankers-- and have also been up in salt springs--I be all over the place---- oh and I know the people that runs Club Inferno-I also have been offered a job by the owner of a local hotel but I said no thanks...we been friends for a while. I always frequent the heart of Mobay and this time around I am going to sit on the steps of the Mall like some of the other Jamaicans just to feel the spirit and the vibes of all my black brotha's and sistah's in my adopeted home Jamaica--
You see, in Jamaica there is no stress for me because everything is so laid back--- Jamaica is where I find my peace and joy--- it is where I go to the shore line of the ocean and lifting my hands upward and pray--- especially for all the souls of slaves that were lost at sea who were taken away from there homeland -- Jamaica I love you! and I know that Jah is truly there!
