My name is Mitchel Caroline Reid.
I was born in Clarindon, October 1973.
I was born premature at 6 months gestation
I lived with my Gran'MOTHER untill she died and
then moved to MayPen to live with my Gran'FATHER,
at age 5.
I was 9 when my Gran'FATHER died.

I thank God, my Creator for the lessons of love my Gran'PARENTS
taught me and I will, forever love them, from the depths of my soul.
Thier ink can never be erased from my heart.

I moved to Miami 2 years later.

I was told my Dad, may have been from Spanish Town.
I can not be certain of that.
I was also told my Dad may have been 1 of several brothers.
I was told by my Auntie, that my Dads family at some point tried to asume responsibilly for my care..
My mother Vadney is strong minded and fought to keep that side of
my family away and me hidden from them.

No one wants to tell me the full truth, maybe they want something different for me.

I am now 31 and want myself and my boys to know
owr heritage and of course our roots.
