I am interested in joining a rock climbing club. Has anyone ever been rock climbing? If so how was it?

Never been rocking climbing but I do want to experience that. I didn't know there was a such thing as a rock climbing club.

Yep...I found out about them from a store here in Atlanta that carries hiking and rock climbing gear and other essentials.

There are more options out west such as Colorado, Nevada and Utah. There is an outdoor survival school called BOSS out in Colorado I think. But the club I plan on joining is here in GA called, Atlanta Climbing Club (http://www.atlantaclimbingclub.org) Another one is granite arches (http://www.granitearches.com/). I do believe they teach as well.

I noticed that some of the rock climbing clubs are also into hiking which is something I would like to try as well.

Hey Domo do you have any other suggestions? Also do you paintball too? That's something else that's on my to do list.

What about Dunns River falls? does that count for rock climbing?

LOL...we can hold meetings about upcoming rock climbing challenges while drinking ourselves into a stupor, but I would still like to climb some rocks after we sober up.
