I like cricket...ever since I was a young one.. My dad use to play cricket, professionally.

I love seeing him when he used to get ready on sunday mornings, in his white cricket uniform!!!

ANd he MADE sure it was white too...would spend hours getting all the dirt out of it from the previous game.

Had his bat, his ball, his protective gear....

Oh...that was such a joy to me...I would want to go to every game, every sunday morning, but mommy made sure I went to church as well...lolol..occasionally..

A very nice sport it is indeed....

Cricket is really popular in Samoa too. Both my parents belonged to Cricket teams when I was younger here in California. There is a huge Samoan community in Southern California and they meet to play cricket every Saturday at a local park. Unfortunately, alot of the younger generation would take these gatherings as a "Who's the toughest" match and almost always there'd be fighting of some sort amongst them. My parents stopped going after awhile.

My first sport is soccer, but cricket is my second sport and I love cricket so much...
