Ever since the Olympics, there seems to be a campaign against the Jamaican sprinters who performed so well there. The latest attack is from American former athlete Carl Lewis.

Poor Carl Lewis. He just sounds bitter to me. He has no class. Carl Lewis was one of those athletes who took performance enhancing drugs, and was caught and had it covered up. He has no right to speak now.
Usain is as clean, as they say, as a whistle. It's unfortunate that the world, or the American world, is unable to deal with the superbness of his performances, but they going to have to put up with it for a while to come ... because he is just a real, genuine talent.

Just pure jealousy, eh?...Why dem just cyaan be proud that we FINALLY come weh wid GOLD!...My lawd man....and we have a JAMAICAN, a clean one that is concidered the fastest man in the world.

But on another note...dat bolt can run tho u nuh....u ever really watch di man, is like he's just jogging!...

I can run 9.5 sec.....................over 50m. In the space of a few weeks the business of sprinting has been turned upside down. The US does not have any big track clubs anymore. The best sprint coaches are now in Jamaica. The best track club is now Jamaican. The aim is to keep the money away from Jamaica. Good luck to them. When more americans want to train in Jamaica the tide has shifted. Money is a major player here.
Did I mention I met Melanie Walker (400m hurdles) yesterday on the plane ride from Miami?
