LOL well..........I got home from our reggae festival and after-party at 7am this morning. Mi tiyad!!! I just woke up. But I did hear about the 2nd medal last night in the 200M. And just hearing of the Jamaican ladies now. I'm so proud.

I am so proud to be Jamaican right now.
Not only did the team do phenominally well, but they are all trained and prepared right here in Jamaica. 100% full Jamaican preparation, yellow yam and all! Home grown all the way. Glen Mills and the MVP track club did an excellent job!
The Caribean on a whole has been doing well so far. Big UP to Trinidad for taking the silver in the mens 100m. There have been other Caribbean athletes putting up admirable performances as well. Big UP to them too.
More medals to come from our athletes. We're looking to take sprint relays, the 200m for men and women and hopefully we can pull some medals in the 400m and 400m and 110m hurdles.
Well done Jamaica!!!!!!!

OMG 1stP that reminds me of last night. I had my big old Jamaican flag attached to my car through the sunroof last night. Everywhere we went the flag waved past the back of my car!  All the Caribbeans from other islands at the festival thought it was funny LOL. Mi nuh care!!! |
