Sounds similar because of some one-ness of roots, the
rhythm is almost the same. They actually sound more like us than Ghanians. Ghanians are the closest to us (Afro)Jamaicans (in
general) of all Africans. Due to differences in language development words will be different.
The Grenadians are
actually the closest to us Jamaicans in every way of all Caribbean nationals.
The Irish actually can learn/understand
Jamaican quite easily, they served as english teachers and "mixed" well in with the local population, partly because they
were mostly males (300 years ago).
