It could mean something is hype, cool, hard, tough, wicked, looking good.

EX. Dah site yah bad like yaadz...meaning it hard! zeen

or Bad like yaadz meaning they are rude as hell.

EX. Deh likkle pickney bad like yaadz.

Just really how you interpret it.

I know the phrase as "Bad like yaws".
Yaws is a disease that was widespread in places with tropical climate way back in the old days. So to be "bad like yaws" originally meant to be really bad - having a great negative impact.

Never heard the phrase used in that way. When things are hype, cool, hard etc etc...It's wikkid, or juss bad.
Bad like yaws is used in describing people.
