It would appear that Rastafarianism has different sects which have some differences in their philosophies and practices. Some are more liberal than others. Maybe for the more liberal sects, it is acceptable that non-blacks can be Rasta. If that is the case, and non-blacks become part of that sect, aren't they then Rasta too?
What is it that makes one a true Rastafarian?
Does one have to be black to believe in and advocate for reparations and repatriation for black people to Africa?
first off let me say that many Rastafarian ppl feel the term Rastafarianism to be DERAGATORY!

Is it whether or not it's ok for a white man to claim they are Rasta? If that is it... then yes... I think anyone can claim what they want to be and it truly doesn't matter what others think.
I could care less if a white man, yellow man, or purple man claims to be rasta as I could care less if a black man claims to be a Mormon. It's simply ridiculous to me....lol.
Christ and my faith is all that I need to claim.... not another organization.

How about the little "white" child that watched her parents march into the death chamber in one of Hitler's death camps. Is she spoiled?? Is she excluded from getting what she wants cause she is not worthy?? Is it the white skin that discredits her??

LOL.... Nothing of the nature scares me. I have NEVER said that one group or another doesn't deserve equality nor reparation. As a matter of fact I state over and over again that ALL... not just blacks... but ALL deserve equality and ALL that have been tortured & enslaved deserve some sort of reparation. But with the facts of history and the many many terrible acts through out time, the chances of reparations are very slim if at all.
The only reparation I see possible for ANY group is the one that God will deliver.

u cannot have claim to that orgnization ...even though i know you dont want to...but u couldnt really if you wanted to
