Hi, I'm new here...

Just wondering if there is any other Jamaican around here who is nonreligious. I'm not an atheist, but I believe religion was man-made, and that the Christian, Islamic, and Jewish Gods are non-existent.

Anyone else hold the same view?
Any atheists/agnostics (or deists) around?

I'm not a Jamaican, but if you don't mind talking to a bearded white dude, I'm game.

I am not jamaican but i am spiritual. i believe in god/a source of energy/love whatever you wanna call it. i dislike man-made religions but respect everyones right to believe what they want. i think its kind of sweet to see someone who truly believes in their own religion and get comfort from it. but my problem is when they cant see or respect other peoples beliefs. i also dislike the way these religious institutions have been run. in my opinion they are corrupt, patriarchal and hypocritical just like any big institution (eg governments).

I'm not Jamaican but I don't believe in anyone but myself. I'm soo glad I quit religion and going to church every Sunday. I'm glad I caught this early before I threw my entire life away chasing all this religious bullshizzle.

I've been an agnostic since my teens
though it's a lonely place for one
someone told me i might be a closet buddhist
but i eat meat...lol
Jamaican tho...
You know how, at 13 or so, everyone around you gets 'saved'?
That was when I started to question the 'truth' and incongruities...
