Me and Joel Osteen
I am a member of Joel Osteen's site and a great big fan of his.. I watch him every chance I get.. and Jammie.. I think we are gonna visit him in Calgary in may of 2008
 His books have been wonderful for me.. I am in the learning to accept process thanks to Joel Osteen... So today I did a prayer request on his site.. for my two grandmothers and for my dear friend Jo and her family.... Thessalonians 5:16-18 Be Joyful always; pray continually; giving thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will for you in Christ Jesus. Dear Friend, Thank you for sharing your prayer request with us. We consider it an honor to pray for you. Please know that Joel and Victoria receive a copy of each request and pray corporately for those things that concern you. In addition, our prayer partners pray for your needs on an individual and personal basis. We are standing with you in prayer and believing that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Our God is Jehovah Rapha, the One who heals; Jehovah Jireh, our provider; Jehovah Shalom, our peace; El-Shaddai, the God who is sufficient for the needs of His people. No matter what concerns you today, Jesus Christ is able to do exceedingly and abundantly more than you can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). Although it is impossible to respond to each request personally, be confident that we are fervently praying for you. Be encouraged and stand strong in the Lord. Be confident that regardless of your current circumstances... that "with God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26). Thank you again for giving us the privilege to pray for your needs. Ghettogurl,
Why do you follow a cult of personality? Do you enjoy all this hype and glitzy Hollywood style promotion? Does it appeal to your senses somehow? In Jesus' day, his words were all that were needed. Nothing has changed. Perhaps its time to get back to basics and let the blind lead someone else? x

Today's Scripture
“And walk in love (esteeming and delighting in one another) as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us…” (Ephesians 5:2 AMP). Today's Word from Joel and Victoria We don’t often hear the world esteem used very much in our culture, but the Bible tells us to esteem and delight in one another. One definition of esteem is to hold in high regard. That means we are to honor and value one another. And you may not always agree with everyone around you. They may not always act honorably, but we are to honor and esteem people because they are valuable in the eyes of God. If you had a very costly and valuable piece of jewelry, you wouldn’t just wear it to the gym or leave it on the kitchen sink. No, you would treat it carefully. You would put it in a safe place and protect it. When we see others as valuable, the way God sees them; we should treat them carefully as well. We should watch how we talk to other people. We should look for the good in others and honor them for who God made them to be. The Bible tells us that the way we treat others is like sowing seeds, and it will come back to you. Choose to esteem and delight in one another. Sow good seeds, and you will see a harvest of blessing in your own life in return! A Prayer for Today Heavenly Father, today I choose love. I choose to honor the people around me. Help me to see the value in others the way You see the value in me. Help my actions and words to esteem and delight in others so that I can be an example of Your love and light. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

But I did say something meaningful.
Maybe it will carry more weight when your TV preacher (whose salary is $200,000/yr) is investigated for financial irregularities and the government challeges his tax exempt status. They're going after alot of this evangelists, and rightfully so. His day is coming. And he won't have to wait until Jesus comes either. x
