My friend is a christian and she indulges in masturbation. yes she is still a virgin and she says its better than fornicating...Im not spreading her business or anything but in your opinion is it right for a christian to masturbate? and she being a virgin and all.....is it still right?

I belive it's not right to masturbate, sure you might just say it's harmful but it's also for lust. I mean you can't just say when you masturbate, "Oh I was thinking about an orange" yeah right! And also wet dreams, I wouldn't consider that lust because you don't really have any control over it. It's just a thing that happens.

If you want to live a life that is honoring to God, then you should be pleasing HIM not yourself. God is calling us to holliness , and yes it can be tough with hormonses raging, but get some control over your life.

hmmm, masturbation is classified in the bible as unnatural therefore it is viewed as wrong, but to me i strictly believe in the use of one's godly trained conscience and not a religion's interpetation.

what if an unmarried christian with a high sex drive curtails him or her self from sucumbing to loose conduct with a member of the opposite sex yet they have needs what should they do. Most times prayer, cold showers, reading etc helps to a certain extent. what would you do if the shoe fit u?

Oh my KC. De shoe fits. I wear it with pride and sometimes hardship. It rough sometimes man. If you have to engage you self in some serious indoors and outdoor activites like sports, chill with friends, watch a decent movie or join forums likes these. What else can I say I do there kc? Go out with friends, cook, find something useful to occupy time.

Well I personally am living a life of sin anyways cause I had sex out of wedlock and had a child at 19 and STILL have sex out of wedlock. I lust after lots of people but don't act on the feelings.
