The universe exists, though it was not created. The continuum of time exists, though it was not created. The big bang occurred, though it was not created. The earth coalesced from residue of that explosion. Life began on its own, from a stew of chemicals and electric energy, without being created. Evolution of species, a process that has never been observed, took place. And here we are. Now does that make any sense???

That is a difficult question to be answered KC...God just is..His name YAHWEH means..causes to be..he brings everything into existence..if he was created then he wouldn't be God...He was and is and is to come. Dude! What are you tryin' to do? This is a Jamaican website and most Jamaicans are christians so I don't know who on this site would actually agree to the above statements without getting their ears bitten off!

i asked that rhetorical question so as to show how the evolution or big bang theory is without foundation.

If one believes the BIG BANG then they can't believe in GOD. GOD is the creator. Don't you think so? Who is GOD to a person who believes in the big bang theory? They are usually people who think organized relion is contrived.

That's a good question though rhetorical or not becuase I know there are some people who claim to be Christians that believe in both the Bible and Big Bang. Well to me that make no sense it's either the Father created the earth in 7 days, or big bang... it confusing like those people who say they are "Jews for Jesus" it's confusing.

I can't see how a person believes in both, but it is their right to believe in both if they chose.

God just is. he decided to create us for his enjoyment. there is know before or after god. Our minds can't begin to comprehend that concept. when we get to heaven and take on the full flawness of him, then we will come into full knowledge.

isn't? Don't you realize that you are simply substituting one mystery for another? There are many theories as to what caused the big bang, but no one has postulated that they know, with any degree of certainty, which, if any, are correct. On what do you base your theory of a god which has always existed, and is everything that has, is and will ever be? An ancient book of tribal fairy tales?!?!
