Re: Creation vs. Evolution
I really could go on for days about this one.
Although I'm spiritual and a christian I sometimes get hit in the head with reality and wonder how creation could have just happened. Evolution seems a lot more plausible because we already know there were dinosaurs and cavemen. That's a fact. So if Adam and Eve were the first humans that confuses me. Cavemen were the first humans (or sub-humans). I can't even wrap my head around the order of events given what's ALREADY been proven by science vs. what's only written about creation. One we know for sure and one is speculation. Its too early in the morning to think about this!!! ![]()

Personally-- I believe in creation....evolution teaches(i think) that everything came from cells or something..well even so..the cells have to come from something..so there has to be somekind of Higher power to make the cells..not that I'm agreeing with evolution..but just that everything was made from a HIgher power which is the Almighty God himslef..God created man in his own image...as far as cavemen.. that would be the same thing seeing that in the older days. they had to dress that way..they clothed themselves in animal skin..anyway God created all things..Let God be true and everyman a liar.

Re: Creation vs. Evolution
I hate the whole evolution crap. Considering how deeply rooted so many of us are in our religions, Scientists are gonna have to work alot harder to convince people about something they've "discoverd" the other day to what people have been believing in for so many years.

Re: Creation vs. Evolution
But then who created it? If there is a creator why would he put two VERY possible options in front of us to pick from?
AND if there is life on other planets who created them?

Re: Creation vs. Evolution
I'm not sure if in today's society I would want creation to be taught in schools, particularly in science class. I am a Christian and I do believe in creation as set forth by God's Word in Genesis 1. If people were going to teach creation that way, then cool.
Evolution is taught as a scientific theory for which the world began. My problem would be that if it creationism is implemented, then it would be taught as a theory of how it all began, instead of it being God's Word. In doing so, it would further confuse students about it, b/c then students would look at it different. |

certain questions is best unanswered, it is not for we to question that is here already ? and as for the options it's all about choice. right and wrong, up & down, right & left, who know's. if it's beyond me i leave it alone.

Re: Creation vs. Evolution
We are approaching this subject as "creation vs. evolution" when, more properly, it should be "creation and evolution". The view from a more cosmic position indicates the two existing in harmony. They are one and the same.
Look for the similarities, not the differences. ![]() In the similarities you find love - that is where God is. In the differences you find hate - that is where evil is.

Re: Creation vs. Evolution
I believe that evolution should be taught in school and creation should be taught at home....
Evolution is proven; creation is belief and beliefs should be taught by parents not formal education. That is, until the child is old enough to make his/ her own decision between or including the two..... I believe in both.

Re: Creation vs. Evolution
Carefull, Dear, evolution is a physical concept which is only proven to physical minds by physical, and sometimes inexact, means. Adaptation is more proven than evolution. Evolution, as an exact science, was good and acceptable in its day, however, we now know the errors inherrent in the system and it is not quite the unassailable fortress it once was. We do have a sweet dilemma in that creation, while not provable by scientific data, is not unprovable either!
