I think this is the same old idolatris image that has been shown to us for 1700. years! Christ lives in us we only have to turn to our spirits to see Him. It is not poor Jesus on the cross, it is Halaujah ! Jesus on the cross. Do peaple see full picture of what was acomplished when became a curse for us when they look at artistic vision of God ? The proff that Jesus blood was a good and exseptable payment to the Father is His reserection. I see Him in His glory every time I call on the name of the Lord. I enjoy Him as life growing in me day by day. The word is God and the word affords us a rich supplie of ways to turn to Jesus and have the vail of our hearts removed so that we can gaze upon His beauty.

An idol is anything that replaces Christ in our being. You are a vessal and what you get into you matters. Protect your heart against seeing or hearing somthing that replaces the living God Himself Jesus Christ who was processed and consumated so that He could get into us as The Spirit to live our human spirit. Do you Know the tree of life is being uterly dependant on God for everything. If God is not the sorce He will not be the outcome. The bible is the right sorce to be filled with God. Read it and you will see the Law of the Spirit of life opperating in you. If the you think of that movie as Christ then it has become an idol to you. Get into the word and you will see Him. Praise the Lord for we know Him no longer in the flesh for he has become the Spirit to live in us. Amen?

I saw "Passion" this weekend. It was amazing!
People (myself included) don't stop to think about the suffering he endured.
Nowadays, people don't just believe what they hear.
You have to see it, absorb it. And I think that movie was quite the wake-up call.
My boyfriend wouldn't say a word for almost 2 hours after we left the theatre!
Big up to Mel Gibson. I think he should be proud of the risk he took in making that film.

Think about Him living in you! Thats why God became man, so that He could be the first born of many sons. Born in resurection, To get into us so we could be born again as His brothers becoming God in life and natchure but not in the God head. Christ wants to be lived out in you. You can do it Sis. Call on His Name Oh, Lord Jesus. See Him and feel Him in a personal way. This is a subjective and real way to contact God. You say peaple dont beleave what they hear they have to see and absorb somthing. I am afraid of peaple seeing and absorbing Mel Gibsons "god" ( HollyWood). Read the story in the book of Luke about the woman at the well. Christ can be reveeled in you. Others beleaved into the Lord because Faith was infused into them upon hearing and seeing the Lord Himself in her speaking. Christ says He is The Spirit of Reality! Read the bible every day and call on His name in uncessing prayer and peaple will beleave in the Lord because of what they see in you.

Hey lovechrist what you have been saying about Jesus and the movie the Passion are really thought provoking. Many people do use idols as a means of worship, whether it been candles, crosses, shrines etc. Despite humans religious diversities, false gods or idols are a no, no. We don't need idols to approach our hevenly Father. In the bible we are encouraged to pray to the Father thru our mediator, his Son Jesus Christ.

Remember God in much deeper than us and when He looks at us He can see more than Phyical objects as idols. Any thing that takes a place in our heart other than Christ is an idol! Money T.V. Sex are really Big Big idols for alot of peaple. We can gain more of Christ when we realize or temper, gossiping eating, lazyness has to go so that it can be replaced with Christ and the only thing you have to do get more of christ is tell Him to deal with the part of you you dont agree with and He will do it. Just read the word and enjoy Him. Try calling on His name. This is a good way to touch Him and give Him pleasure. Oh Lord Jesus!
