What was Jesus Nationality?
Scholars have long debated the exact ethnicity and nationality of Jesus.
Recently, at a theological meeting in Rome, scholars had a heated debate on this subject. One by one, they offered their evidence........ THREE PROOFS THAT JESUS WAS MEXICAN: 1. His first name was Jesus 2. He was bilingual 3. He was always being harassed by the authorities But then there were equally good arguments that.... JESUS WAS BLACK: 1. He called everybody "brother" 2. He liked Gospel 3. He couldn't get a fair trial But then there were equally good arguments that.... JESUS WAS JEWISH: 1. He went into His Father's business 2. He lived at home until he was 33 3. He was sure his Mother was a virgin, and his Mother was sure he was God But then there were equally good arguments that.... JESUS WAS ITALIAN: 1. He talked with his hands 2. He had wine with every meal 3. He used olive oil But then there were equally good arguments that.... JESUS WAS CALIFORNIAN: 1. He never cut his hair 2. He walked around barefoot 3. He started a new religion But then there were equally good arguments that.... JESUS WAS IRISH: 1. He never got married 2. He was always telling stories 3. He loved green pastures But perhaps the most compelling evidence..... THREE PROOFS THAT JESUS WAS A WOMAN: 1. He had to feed a crowd at a moment's notice when there was no food 2. He kept trying to get the message across to a bunch of men who just didn't get it 3. Even when He was dead, He had to get up because there was more work to do..... |

As for imposing my standards, did i miss read your initial response or were you not implying that I should loosen up and find a sense of humour..........As you no doubt have...........in fact you told me I needed to, didn't you, is that classed as "imposing" in your books?

Re: What was Jesus Nationality?
Of course He laughed! Jesus loved children and they are all about laughter and happiness. I believe that he experienced all the things that we as humans experience; love, hate, sadness, happiness, fear, loneliness, excitement, joy, disappointment, etc. Yes, I'm sure he laughed.

Re: What was Jesus Nationality?
First of all we must remember that we were created in God's image. He gave us the qualities that we have as human beings. If it weren't for Him we would not be here in the first place. Don't you think if He gave us the ability to laugh then Jesus would laugh too? There are also many things we don't know about Jesus that aren't in the Bible. I'm sure He and the apostles had fun times and laughed. If Jesus didn't laugh then why would God have given only us laughter? Also, we know that he got angry in the temple when they were using it as a marketplace. That shows that he had emotions. Remember the scripture that says "Laughter does us good like a medicine"? It's in Proverbs 17:22
I thank God that He made me the person the I am so full of wisdom....and that my God was a God of humor and the reason why I know because he made me and you, filling our hearts with joy and laughter and humor too. You see, Satan wants you to be miserable, unhappy and without humor, Satan rejoices in all of this. But my God is full of joy and happiness and with humor too and I am going to continue to be just like Him! Amen ![]() |
