The USA is needed in as much as the nations of the world believe it is....when the nations decides that the USA is not needed, then it is not. Do not get me wrong i am not in support of US interfering in other nations affairs...after all it's not as if there are no oppression going on in the United States of America.

The flaw of any one is when we look to a nation/person to save us, even when that same person or nation is guilty of doing the same against it's own as ours are against us. The question is, who will defend the world against the USA when it becomes the oppressor? The fact of the matter is there is only one true savior and protector and He is God, but right now the world has not come to the level of understanding.

I don't believe the US is consider anymore to be the world police. In the past this holds true but with the continued challenges in Iraq those days are drawing to an end. I've seen American's, when traveling outside the US, remove the US flag and replace with the Canadian flag. People now look at the states as the Dictator. Ironically the US went into Iraq to remove a dictatorship but now struggle with an inability to win the hearts of the people worldwide.

I mean just look at a small island like CUBA. the US such a superpower but yet unable to overthrown Fidel even on his sick bed. This notion that if you have the biggest bomb makes you the strongest is not quite true. You can't win the hearts of people with bombs and guns.

They got that mentality from their ancestors of Europe it's in their blood, and if no one will stand up against them they will continue to do it and feel it's their god given right to.

Nations just as individuals must learn to stand on their own two feet....that's what freedom is all about. One cannot be truly free if they have to depend on another person/nation in order to live.

Freedom demands personal responsibility; it is much easier and far less mature to stay a slave, and have old massah feed you and cloth you, in order to keep you working on the plantation.

God did not and does not intend for some of us to be subseriant to other human beings. Every man/woman's God given purpose is to ultimatly rule over all things.
