Bounty, I can't comment on this. But, since you live in Jamaica, why don't you start us off with your point of view?

I haven't really been following the US elections that much, so I don't know what each candidates positions are on all the issues, but I guess things that would affect Jamaica would be :
- US Immigration and visitation policy
Each year plenty Jamaicans go to the US to live, work and visit. Those who
work and earn money there usually send money back to Jamaica in
remittances. Remittances account for a large percentage of Jamaic's
income. The regime that has the tougher immigration and visitation policies
will be the one that has the potential to have the greatest negative impact
on that sector of the Jamaican economy.
- Policies toward countries such as Haiti and Cuba
Jamaica has relations with both countries to some extent. US policy
towards these nations can impact on Jamaicas relationship with them and
with the US.
- Security/Terrorism etc.
Americans account for a large percentage of the Jamaican Tourism market.
While threats of terrorism and concerns about security are high, it is likely
that many US citizens would not be inclinec to travel outside the US. This
would impact Jamaica's tourist trade. The regime that could address this
issue best would help to minimize the negative impact on Jamaica's tourism
sector.
Those are some just off the top of my head
