Jamaica is uder the thumb of the USA. A revolution would never be allowed, Granada already tried that and was crushed.

Not all, but European colonization along with huge ecomomies like the USA have crippled Jamaica's independence. I do not pretend to understand world politics but I am aware that the USA protects their interests in the Carribean and South and Central America. As I understand Granada, it was a people's revolution that was crushed with USA troops fighting on the government's side. Another example, Just last month Mexico's president wanted to decriminalize certain recreational drugs in Mexico and was immediately stopped by USA dictates. I think a Jamaican could answer if they feel under the shadow of American politics.

Truth of the mattter 9 out of 10 times the US is the cause but always wants to come off like the cure. I think the US may be Babylon the Great mentioned in the book of Revelations...or maybe its organized religion..????

funny how the US is always there to lend a hand or a dollar bill, at a time of serious desperation.......at an intrest rate soooo high they know the counrty will be indepted and unable to pay...what a way to help.. no better than loansharking if you ask me.
