The Earth Moved
The Earth Moved.
The first time I held you in my arms,
The earth moved.
I'm not talking the airy fairy flowery metaphoric sounds
Which many a Cassanova-in-training have used
To woo some lusty lass after one too many rounds.
Remember?
The earth did move, for us.
The ground swelled, and the walls shook.
It could have been the end of the world,
But it was the begining of a fantasy,
The begining of a legacy,
The begining of our reality.
The earth moved and we found each other,
Gravitated toward each other.
The earth moved us to each other.
Nothing less can separate us from each other.

Very waggish indeed.
