Saying Goodbye

Goodbye's nuh really easy,
Sometimes it mek people bawl.
Dem rather say "See you soon"
So dem emotions dem nuh fall.
Memories nuh really go away,
Di reminder is still there,
That someone, who for now is gone,
Used to be right here.
With the flick of a hand,
And the swivel of a wrist,
Someone is waved farewell.
Yet in the heart of those who care
Their presence it still dwells.
There's some comfort in reminiscing
Over good times in the past,
But nothing quenches the yearning
For a reunion to occur very fast.
