A hungry man is an angry man.
He's not hungry for food,
But for attention.
From society, he hungers for recognition.
But to get it, he angrily causes contention.
A hungry man is an angry man.
Yes, that's quite right.
Sometimes men do wrong
When they hunger for what's right.
The pain that they feel
Makes them lash out and fight
That's the only way they know
To cry for help to end their plight.
A hungry man is an angry man.
He hungers for respect.
But so many are misguided
In this important aspect.
Respect they try to earn
By lashing out angrily,
When they could gain even more,
By acting with humility.
An angry man is a hungry man.
Of that you can be sure.
Many times the ones who SHOUT loudest
Are the ones most insecure.
They seek the reassurance
That their life won't fade away
Without the care of someone
Who loves them every day.
