You slammed me to the concrete
YOU SLAMMED ME TO THE CONCRETE I remember going up and then I hit my head OH ****!!!!!!!Dear Lord am I dead? I heard that initial “crack” when I hit the ground After that I didn’t hear a sound Is someone going to help me? My body is numb,I can't feel my feet No, please,please I beg you don’t cross the street Can they not see that he’s trying to kill me ******Invisible me****** With my eyes closed I see you pick me up I left my body with you I’m watching to see what you do Those same hands that loved me Those beautiful long hands The same ones that broke my nose Blackened my eyes, put my arm in a sling The same hands you use to hit me and made my ears ring Why is it no one else can see? ******Invisible me****** I hear something Voices so innocent they make me weep My son and daughter are asking Daddy is mommy asleep? I have to fight back I know what my life is worth I refuse to let you erase me from the face of the earth So as I make my stand with my butcher knife in hand I promise you that today is the first day of the rest of my life I am NOT your punching bag dammit I am your wife And no longer will I be ******Invisible me******

Hot's thank goodness you are not keeping your talent hidden!
That was awesome, was very deep and I could tell that this came from a deep personel place within you,that you may have had bottled up for a while. This poem evoked emotions of sadness within me while reading it.
