Dear God,
I am writng this letter in a time of peace and a time of crisis
In a time of war and high gas prices

A time of joy and a time of pain
A time of rape and a man's gain.

I reckon you know the times I'm in
Times of pleasure, goodness and times of sin

How long must the interest rates sky-rocket above the land?
Or the taxes which in my opnion, should just be band.

The sun is hotter and the wind hardly comes
The cows need fattening;
Have you seen the trees and the scrubs?

To earn a living my sweat becomes blood
Famine and drought-
Dear God we need a flood!

Technology is increasing
That's a good thing too
But clones are being made to mimick You.

There are manydeaths and increased births
Many prisoners on the face of this earth

Many young infants being abused
Good and evil you have given us to choose

Dear God, I am asking on the behalf of the land
Reach down and touch us with your great right hand

Do only what I know you alone can do
Dear God we are waiting for you to see us through.

this is one of the best i have seen. simply profound. you were directly hitting at reality, as in life we do come across the occasional happiness and contentment and then we are bombarded by trouble or perils. The struggles we encounter are never easy but we keep our sanity by relying on God to see us through. I am impressed with your style, format. ok i know i'm going on and on but that was good.
