a boy enter this world and given a name.
Copied from his father, and now remains
Labeled a Gemeni, spiritually twins were born
the good side gain loving, the bad forever scorn
Biologically made up from ingredients like:
15% German
30% Black foot Indian
30% Cherokee
30% Jamiacan
and the rest is all me.
More mixtures than a mutt,
with characteristics like what?
Black short straight hair,
redish brown complexion,
medium built, skin like silk,
and with many mixtures came
a man blessed in sections.
My first word I recall,
was freaky like Tungs is now,
my first erection in section,
a old lady pointed me out.
Birth name is LeRoy Josef Vincent Goetzendanner III.
You can call me Tre' for short.
Name after my father and his father,
You see the last name is a lot of work.
As a black man, I can say that I succeeded 33 years
without seeing prisons
without life being taking,
without me taking a life,
no statistics on this black man.
I see a college educated and a military man.
Fought in Saudi in the 90's
Serve in Haiti in 94,
saw six month deployments,
7 months service in Saudi in 03-04.
Gave blood for red cross, held blood
from wounded men I carried.
Seven burrials out a sea, seven
families for flags I had to carry.
But I stand, Fallen, Never Failed,
continue the name in future seeds,
I am a survivor, I am a poet, I am a man still alive.
