Should I consider myself lucky?
what does luck have to do with anything
destiny has been written and cannot be
changed.......can it?

Why is life not a breeze?
Why is there dark streaks in the sky?
last night there were stars
tonight there is none, could it be a sign?

nothing can be as we would like it to be
but i would like it to be as it really should be
confused I am, as I consider things said and done
but what can I do? whats done is done

then the rains came...and dew was just so.....
the scent of the rain on the lawn was jus so....
the well spring of life highlighted by the birds singing oh so.....

Then there it was.....the morning....a new dawn
open your door and take in that new clean air
then rise.....rise like the eagle and take flight
dont look down least you fall but keep your head high
