Justsimplifyit, the poem is wonderful! You should really publish this one somewhere for others to read! And if you have other poems as well - you can make an online poetry-site somewhere! You'll have all your poems at one place, there's no risk to lose them, and people may easily go back to them and re-read them..

I myself am an amateur painter and did the same with my first paintings. The photos of my paintings are placed in a site (I understand nothing of website building but I used sitekreator.com, it's free for small accounts), and since some of the paintings are a bit personal I locked them with a password. So some of my paintings are publicly available, others may be seen just by people whom I give the password..But definitely putting your poetry online will let lots of people read the nice poems you write!

why thankyou jamspoon .... its a secret but im writing a book at the moment... ive kept journal for 15 years now and i definately want my poems kept safe somewhere...even the ones i wrote as a ten year old are so special to me, and so very sad as they helped me get through the tough times...
