Well then I guess its settled....we work around Tia and Vee's schedules! LOL

Looks like a tight race so far between JA and Miami. I would have gone with Toronto too since I live up here but it didnt' look like its coming close to winning. Quite honestly I would have gone to any of those locations, although Jamaica is quite fitting for the occassion.

Is it going to be July then? Is that enough time for everyone (poor people) to get it together?

July sounds like a perfect time for me! Even though the prices will be at their highest during that time....event coordinating speaking....but i'm sure i can work out some good discounts....i've already started...will post info a lil later

LOL Kiki what could you possibly be organizing ALREADY!!!! Airfare wise, July's a great time for cheap flights to the Caribbean. What else do we need besides some drinks, a club and a place to stay?

I cannot possibly answer that poll. I would most like to meet y'all in JA, but if it is in JA, then $ and timing will be an issue and I can't see our dates ever coinciding.

Miami is nice...other than all the crazy women in the state of FL (as evidenced on this forum)... but more doable. I know there are lots of ETJers in FL as well. Still, timing for us is hard due to work schedules and DJing gigs. It might work though.

New York--a US city I have yet to visit. Alot closer for me...and I'm anxious to get there. Not a bad choice. We need to pick a warm month though...my caribbean blood can't take too much cold, LOL.

Toronto--well, not so exciting for me since it's my hometown... and I live just down the road still. However, if any ETJers ever come to the T-dot we absolutely MUST link up...I'm sure you all know that already.

Okay... I guess I just answered my own question, now I can vote on the poll: NY.

And you know, if I can make it there...

See I was a bit partial to NY too because I know its cheaper for me to get to AND I've always wanted to see it. PLUS there are some great clubs there. I voted for all of them! LOL

Yes we have to make things relatively simple on everyone. Like Urban said its mostly going to be a matter of $$$ for some of us. And of course somewhere that would reflect all our Caribbean style and culture and diversity....meaning somewhere we can all enjoy.

I'm happy to hang out with you guys wherever. July works for me. Obviously MIA anytime of the year is great. Oct during carnival would be lots of fun.

I am always up for NYC...3 hour flight on JetBlue.

Urban - if planned in advance, everyone who is willing to link up has more than an opportunity to reschedule diaries to ensure dates coincide........
