can anyone tell me exactly what date is the west indian carnival in florida for 2005 and where exactly is it going to be held and for how many days, and also where would be the closest place to stay ie: miami beach, fort laurderdale...

I don't think florida holds its carnival until in october yuh kno. But it is either in opa locka.. or homestead... sooooo.. that means you would find a place in miami.... but then again.. i not sure.. i never in the states at that time.

I searched for some info and I hope this is the right info: The carnival is called "Miami Carnival" and it's scheduled for Sunday, October 9, 2005. It's going to be on Homestead Speedway. I am seriously trying to go, let me know who else is going and maybe we can meet up there and hang out.

It is always the weekend before Columbus Day. This Year Columbus day weekend falls on Monday 10th, so the carnival weekend falls from Friday 7th through Monday the 10th.

I will still be in Jamaica at that time but if I wasn't in Jamaica I sure would like to come to Miami to the Carnival which is close to me being that I am in Alabama. I should really be ashamed of myself for never having been in Florida. Heck, I go everywhere else in the states but I do fly over Florida....Does that count? LOL LOL LOL

I just may make that my next trip, whenever I get to leave Jamaica! LOL LOL LOL .....Today is my last day here in the states Jamaica...time has come!
