This will be our first year going. I'm finding it hard to get any information!! If anyone here has gone before, please contatc me! I have many questions, everything from hotel's to the concert venue itself.

I'm assuming the concert is outdoors?

As far as hotels go, it's really hard to figur eout how far from Catherine Hall all the hotels are. We are looking at maybe stayingat Toby's Inn. Do you know that place? Since we are coming from the states, it's kind of hard to know what we will need to bring and what we can get there. I guess I am just looking for some suggestions on how to make sure this all works out!!

Yes the concert is outside but and that doesn't matter in July in JA!

DO bring lots of summer-wear and sunblock, you won't need pants and jackets in July. There's not much else you need to bring to JA I guess. I just pack skimpy clothing and my speakers and mp3 player for music in my hotel room.

As I said, I'm not too familiar with hotels in Mobay, I never stay there. The only ones Ive ever been to are the Ritz Carlton and the Gloriana.

A good thing to do if you looking at Toby's is email them and ask their proximity to Sumfest....but nothing's too far. The Gloriana is right in the heart of Mobay and didn't take us long to get to the venue.

The best advice is don't worry.....it all works out. When you get there tings just flow. Everyting good. Keep in touch too.....there's some of us who will probably be there.

Now this might be a really stupid question, but for people who are from the states, what do they do about chairs? I don't think I can stand for 4 days straight and I don't think the airline would care for me to pack lawn chairs!!

LOL hey Brian you can probably find really cheap fold up ones in Mobay, bring them with you. My back hurt after standing the whole time too, I hear you. But I think alcohol made some of the pain go away
