I'm a newbie to the sight,and about to head to mobay for the first time. A couple of my cousins and are heading there on the 13th of July. Will anyone else be there during that time?

YOU! Telling the new people you are in that contest. Funny. I hope you win that contest so you can really brag about it. I'm in that love/hate relationship with sumfest this year. I want to go. But, knowing I could only do that by leaving Jomo behind is not even a question.

hi ol' head. i'll be at sumfest this year. last year was my first time and i had a blast. you and your cousins are in for a great time. i've got pics of last year's sumfest in the travel report section.

jomo, how long will it take before he can visit jamaica?

Until he is a conditional permanent resident (conditional until we are married more then 2 years), which we have to file for before September 15th. $435 more. YUCK.

We can file for travel visa (not the official name-forget what it is right now), which would allow him to travel. $170 and it takes a few months to get. May consider it if it looks like the CPR thing is going to take too long.

Not looking at traveling till the Holidays anyhow.

I went in 1999, when boyz II men came for it....
it was good.....
and i dont need to go to mobay to see local acts, and i dont want to see rhiana and 50 cent ....

i'm not entirely thrilled to see rihanna or 50 either. well i won't be seeing rihanna because i have to leave that night. but i am VERY excited about seeing the local artists.

i was there in 99 and saw boyz II men. wow..my 3rd time on the island..was trying to get there tis year but wont make it until sept...family get together (wedding)

Just got my plane tickets today! Ill be there for two weeks!!!!!!!!
I have seen everyone before but the energy is so differnt in Jamaica. Went to a concert at UWI one year it was the best!!!!!!!!

I received my confirmation # yesterday, so my cousins and will be there that evening. I'm looking forward to this because I've never been. I know once I'm over the amazement of being there, I'm going to be off the hook up until the moment I get back on the plane.( if I do decide to stay!!!) Oh yeah if anyone happens to see this dude with a look of amazement on his face, dont worry he just need a shot of Patron.
