This is the final thread for the ETJ link up in July.

DATE: July 13-18, 2006
PLACE: Negril, Jamaica

DO NOT post in this thread UNLESS YOU ARE ATTENDING.

This is the information we will use to get our final head count in order to make reservations. Once you post here you will be considered confirmed and will be expected to contribute to the planning and your share of $$$ from here on in. All other posts will be deleted and the deadline for this is FEBRUARY 5.

We have decided to hold our link-up at The Yellow Bird in Negril.

The Yellow Bird offers cottages, hotel style rooms & sleeping rooms. We all decided to rent cottages for all of us. Each cottage includes:

~Two bedrooms with two double beds in each
~ Private bathrooms
~ A spacious living/dining room
~ A full kitchen
~ Ceiling fans & standing fans (air condition also)
~ They are screened in

Cottage are $128.15 per night. This price includes taxes. Since there are 4 beds in each cottage this price will be split 4 ways ($32.04 per person). All who respond to this thread will be sent payment information, confirmation numbers, etc. via PM. REMEMBER only post in this thread if you will be attending. The payment information will NOT be made public.

The Yellow Bird also offer:

~ Transportation to & from the airport
~ Picnic area w/ tables & lounge chairs
~ Bar (Happy hour from 4pm until sun goes down)
~ Housekeeping
~ Security
~ Complimentary coffee & toast (7am-10am)

yup i am confirming...barring any unforeseen incidents that may happen between now and july. i'm still not absolutely sure how long i'll be staying this summer. if it's not going to be for a few weeks then i may leave the kid at home for that trip so i can 'live it up' with the etj crew.

It is okay to bring your children. We cannot stop anybody from coming. But please be reminded that:

~ there will be more adults than children
~ there may be some adult 'activities' going on (drinking, etc.)
~ there may not be much for your child to do (unless you plan activities)
~ everybody is coming to have fun, let lose, and live a little (which may or may not be suitable for children )

***Another tip*** (mostly for JSI)

We do not require your full payment by February 5. We only require your committment by that time.

Payment information will be sent to your PM. Half of your payment will be due by a certain date & the other half by a certain date. We will give you enough time to get your $$$ straight so don't worry. Those of you who have responded already you will receive something within a few days.

My friend MsTing wants to go but she can't even get into ETJ. She has tried to get someone to answer her with her sign in info that she has forgotten but no one will. She tried again yesterday.

im scared of commitment... i don know what the future brings!!...im truly hoping to be there i can sleep on the floor if need be...typical aquarian!! I dont wanna make a promise i cant keep if sumthin comes up....

Okay I think that concludes our link up stuff.

As a footnote for anyone coming....OldSalt and Mrs Salt will be there for part of our link up too, however they're staying somewhere else. I'll be keeping in touch with him until DUCANI fixes his password and he can get on ETJ again.
