Alright here's a bit of a novel. I was just doing some comparisons between the 2 villas we're considering: Sea Grape and White Sands in Negril.

*Also has 1 bdrm apartments that sleep 5
*$288.00/night for villa, $94.00/night for apartment
*Private Pool and yard

*Airport shuttle vans 6-8 people each van/$20 per person
*Cell phone rentals
*From the look of the virtual tour it has TV and stereo

*On the cliffs - no walking access to beach
*Biggest Villa has 2 bdrms, 2 bathrooms for $165/night
*It has a 3 bdrm villa but with only 1.5 bathrooms.
*CD stereos in rooms
*Must take ladders down to water
*No airport transfers


***Just my 2 cents....looks like White Sands is a better deal. It sleeps 10 people and even if others stayed in the smaller rooms the villa is the perfect place to hang and the small rooms are REAL cheap. Sea Grape is a drive from the beach, small villas so we'd be more seperated, in the long run would be more expensive because we'd have to rent more than one villa.***

hey jc, i also heard about these cabins in negril called traveler's something. jamaica miss knows more about it. maybe that can be another option.

They are nice cabins, but I don't think they have a villa. We may be able to get several of them at a decent price from Suzi that's in charge of something or other at Travellers. They have a nice bar and eating area, right on the beach and are putting in a swimming pool. I will go down next week and talk to her about what she can do. How many do I tell her that are probably coming?

ma, my memory is horrid...it's called "travellers" and thanks so much for bringing it back to my remembrance. how many should we tell her is coming? that i don't know. since it's so early in the planning just try to get a ballpark figure from her. although i'd love to stay in a villa, i don't know who/how many people want to share it with a tempermental 3 year old. my son and i shared a hotel room with one of my college friends and i think after that experience she probably doesn't want to have any kids! lol i just need to see what my options are.

Okay I'd say a rough estimate is about 20 considering that Windy is bringing her whole possie! That sounds cool too so I guess just find out about group deals, ballpark figures.

By the way the tigress 2 was great and cheap!! 2 x double bed in rooms a/c up lane from mi yard .....in the middle really .... its like a mini village..all rooms around in a circle kinda thing so it could work out well....i aint rich so i don know wat ur after lol..
