Hi there, I just joined the forum. Have been looking around and I just love it! You all are doing a wonderful job, especially sharing the language and slang.

I've been visiting Negril every year for the past 23 years and go as much as possible. I have wonderful friends there whom I miss very much. I'll be going again next month. I have two acres on Spring Mountain, Green Island that I purchased with one of my friends down there. I live in Connecticut, USA.

Eventually I'd like to have enough money or a job in the states that will pay me to live there....but I guess probably everyone on here feels that way. Glad to meet everyone here and am looking forward to learning and sharing. Lata

Anyone heard "Dry Cry"? I can't find it in the states but I hear it's very popular down there right now. Lata.

JamCan, where have you been staying? I used to always stay at Golden Sunset or Blue Cave Castle in the cliffs (friends with owner) but the last few times I've been staying at my friends' house in Green Island.
