In 1972 (I think that is the correct year of the trip) I bought a very beautiful watercolor on rice type paper mounted on hard board-- It is of Kelp or seagrass in water-- background is pale green with the swirling leaves in shades of brown and tan-- approximately 20 X30 inches. Price written in pencil on back is $100.00 ---- $75.00 US. tHE ARTIST IS SIMMONS. as I recall a woman sold this to me from a location of artists and craft persons in a sunken courtyard near Duns River Falls. Has anyone heard of this lady or her work?? assuming the woman that sold it to me was the artist.. Might have been a salesperson. I am new to this board-- Located in W Va-- Retired-- age 80-- will appreciate any info you might be ablwe to relay to me THANKS MATT
