I would like to get some advices about Mona campus. Did someone already studied there? How is it? I heard that it wasn't that safe... I lived in the blue mountains and have been to Papine many times but I would like to know more about the atmosphere on the campus. How is the quality of the education ?
Which Hall did you prefere? How is the everyday life on the campus? Is that true that there are a lot of activities?
Thank you so much for answering me !!!

Hi Olivier,
Welcome to ETJ..
Assuming you are referring to the University of the West Indies (and not the University of Technology nor the Caribean School of Architecture) I was never a student at Mona so I personally couldn't comment on the campus life, I am however, very familiar with the area.
You said you lived in the Blue Mountains...Where exactly? Gordon Town, Cooper Ridge, where?
If you are familiar with Papine, then you should know that there are environs that are not necessarily safe for a visitor .i.e. August Town, Elletson Flats, etc.
Still, that should not be a deterrent to pursuing a course of study at the campus. Just stay away from certain areas unless you are familiar with them.
Hope that you are successful in achieving that goal and that your term of study at UWI will be a fulfilling one.
Now, my question about France...

Is it true that because of the steady diet of cheese, foie gras and croissants, french women are never fat?
