Smile Recently Married husband in Jamaica

Hi All,

I'm a newbie on here and looking for lot's of advice. I recently married my longtime boyfriend of eight years. He was deported back to Jamaica. I'm looking to relocate over there, and I would like to know will it be hard for me to find work in Jamaica and make it over there.

Welcome Nat. And congrats on your marriage.

I have no idea about the work situation though. Guess it depends on what kind of work you do and what area you're in.

Welcome.
First, congratulations on your new marriage. I can only imagine how tough it must be for you that your husband got deported; but it shows a great deal of love and devotion on your part that you are willing to migrate to Jamaica to be with him. Kudos to you.

As far as the job prospects in Jamaica ia concerned, regardless of the field of profession, unless you are planning on running your own business it will be somewhat difficult to ascertain whether or not you would be able to easily find a job. With the current economical downturn in teh United States, you can imagine the exponential effect that such a fallout will have on developing countries such as Jamaica.
Still, I hope the best for you in your marriage and in your future endevors with your new husband in Jamaica.

Re: Recently Married husband in Jamaica

Thanx You

From what I can see it may be a little hard over there. However, I do have some business ideas that I would like to do over there. So, we will see what happens.
