Hello All,

I just joined ETJ and wanted to introduce myself. I've been to Jamaica several times and love the island and the people. I've been lurking around on ETJ for about a month or so and have enjoyed reading the discussions ~ very enlightening! Looking forward to chatting with you............

I've been to Jamaica 14 times, have stayed in Negril, Mobay, Ochi and Runaway Bay. I'm from Vermont ~ the frozen north. Where in Canada are you from?

That's interesting I used to live in Vermont when I was young. We lived in Burlington, Jericho and Essex Junction. Good maple syrup and no billboards.

Hola loveyoumore and FM ~ I live in the Burlington area. Yup, we've still got great maple syrup and no billboards. There's been a lot of urban sprawl though, things have changed. I think it's been a while since payphones cost 10 cents but I remember those days too.

Vermont's a beautiful place to live, but the long winters get me down ~ 6 months is too much for me! So I'm making plans to move to North Carolina or Virginia. I'll be happier in a more moderate climate, and that much closer to sunny Jamaica as well!!
