newbie here
greeting, folks. newbie here. seems like the way to get started is to say hello and give a little snapshot on why I am here...so here goes....
I am a thirty something american girl who just spent a few lovely months traveling throughout the caribbean. I spent several weeks in jamaica....where I managed to fall head over heels for a sweet and delicious jamaican man. now I am back in the states and cannot get the man out of my mind. so since my mind is wondering to jamaica all the time, I thought I might try to chase down some people who might have something to say on the matter.

I have not been to aruba....yet. this last time around I did the virgin islands (us and british), jamaica and the bahamas. I don't even know what to say about the sexy jamaican except I got it bad for him. and unfortunately...I don't think it could ever work. which is totally depressing.

Hello, I am a newbie too. I met a Ja man here in the states at work He has been here 20 years, so the situation is a little different. I came upon this site by accident and have learned lots about Ja men (or men in general) from these folks.
\ Are you in contact with him? Why do you say it probably won't work. If it won't, the heartache will disappear with time. I've also experienced the vacation romance - it's easy in that climate and no job to go to!!! None ever worked for me. It was just a week or two in wonderland. Then back home to reality. That was me anyway. Well, listen to these people. They have given me some good advice and then some!

nice to know there are some other ladies feeling my pain. although I am bummed to hear of the sadness of others.
yes....we talk. everyday when I first got back...but the calls are fewer and farther between these days. I am actually going back to visit for the weekend in a few weeks. but he has a life there and I don't really think there is a place for me in it. I would love to think that if we dig each other enough, fate would work things out. but I know better. so...at the risk of sounding ignorant...tell me...in jamaica, what is the view on jamaican men dating white women?
