i'm in the market for a new long distance company. for the past year i've used tel3 advantage but lately they absolutely suck! i can't get a connection, but i'm still charged a connection fee and their customer service is unreachable. stay away from tel3!!!

What's the most inexpensive way to call Jamaica from the USA? Both calling a cellphone and calling a landline. Any idea why the regular phone rates to Jamaica are so expensive?

I call using 3UTelecom. Cheapest way I have found for us.

What is that JG? I just had to reeimburse my job for $1200 for phone calls made from my company blackberry.......ouch.......luckily the finance manager is a friend. He kept it low key!!

Go to 3Utelecom.com and you will see. We've been using it for 3 years now and have no issues. It's attached to your home phone so you can call from your home or cell phones. Ours is at 17 cents a minute. I think I saw where it went up a bit for newbies. I like not having to hassle with any kind of calling cards and all that.

Billed to the second....at the very least to the minute
No expiration date
No surcharge
No additional fees of any kind
No dropped calls nor bad reception


I have scoured the web. I looked into every single thing that was ever posted on this site. They ALL have hidden charges.

I have been looking for years now and can't find a single card that does it all. I always end up staying with 3U. With 3U, all I pay is per minute, billed to the second. They don't charge a single extra charge. No dropped calls and beautiful clarity. I just can't find anything better.

I'm still open to suggestions.
