Welcome to ETJ.
To begin to learn about Jamaica and its culture you could start by getting to know your cousin's boyfriend. But that would all depends on if he was born and bred in Jamaica or only of Jamaican parents, as well as how "in-bred" he still is with his Jamaican culture.
You can also post as many questions here on ETJ as you would like as well as just sit back, grab a hot cup of chocolate (or a cool drink) and just dig into the myriad of threads that are already posted here.
One word of caution though...

The many views and opinions that you may preview here are just "opinions" based on individual experiences, not GENERAL facts defining ALL Jamaicans.
The only sure solid way of gaining a full understanding of the Jamaican culture is to actually spend some time IN Jamaica amongst the local people.
Until such time, enjoy ETJ and post away at your hearts content.
