New to this forum but not to JA
Good morning everyone!
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Kim and I have been married to a wonderful Jamaican man for 20yrs now. We have 5 beautiful daughters together and live in the states, but, still keep the Jamaican way alive and well.

Yes, I love these long relationships. Want All the naysayers to look long and hard at Kim, Damswell, etc.

lol When we were first married he said to me.."Mi no mama mon, mi no do dem woman tings!" I said " Oh..okay..looky ere sir..mi no live in elper ither...so ither yah lift a and..or go ungry!" (forgive my patios..can speak it..but write it..not so much )
And you know the way to man's heart is thru his stomach!!! LOL

Im with you Iriestar, I can chat the patois no problem, but writing it not so great!
Ive told Rup the same thing, he helps out, maybe not as much as I would like, but he does.

My D is a good man. He takes great care of us..and in turn....we take great care of him. He is the only man is a house of 6 women!! We have to take pity on him!  And he is tad spoiled....I admit to that!!
And Jomo's girl..no offense taken at all...I've seen quite a bit of bashing here while in lurk mode and I"m not saying that some men aren't like that..but not all are. |

Shoot.I think being careful applies to all men!
I will say this though..my dh's sister's didn't marry JA men, because they like to rule the roost and can boss their non JA men around and they admit that openly.
