Disc golf is played like ball golf except you use frisbee's and there is a basket with chains hanging from the top that you throw your disc into, to finish the hole. Most courses are in public parks and are free to play and open to all. Players carry many disc from long distance driver to midrange disc to putters.
Courses usually have 9 or 18 holes to play just like ball golf. There are over 2000 courses and an estimated 12 million disc golfers world wide.
I am not from Jamaica and have never been there. I do read as much as I can and look forward to visiting one day. The projects I have worked on are community projects done with cities,boy scouts,eagle scouts, Kiwanis and nature reserves. The different communities in my area see the possitive effects a disc golf course brings to their youth as well as anyone else that wants to play.
