Montego Bay

I am taking a trip to montego bay in late april and was wondering if there is anyone who has been there before or who lives there now. I am thinking of moving to either montego bay or st elizabeth, any comparisons? Is one spot better than the other or are they about the same. I work for the Sheraton hotels in the states and I was wondering how the tourism is there. By the way this is my first time posting and hope to post many more comments and looking forward to talking to everyone.
Thanks

Re: Montego Bay

Hey Nachodaddy, I like appetizers! Welcome to deh board. Regarding living there, I am going to live in Mobay at least for the winters by November hopefully if the house is finished. It depends on if you want city or country life where you would live. St. Elizabeth is also beautiful, Mobay is more touristy but also has some out of the way places to live too. You need to go there and experience the island and people before you decide on what fits into your lifestyle. The tourist trade of course is bigtime there. I'm sure some of the Jamaicans on this board could answer more questions and will in the next few days on your thread. So welcome to deh site and enjoy!

Re: Montego Bay

If you live in MoBay there are places up in the hills you could go and live away from touristique parts. Plus you would easily be able to escape to Negril and other places along the coast.
