Greetings ~ Long time No come - Jamaica Talk

Hi All.. Ive been gone for a while... was in Jamaica for a while... Had my first fashion show with Fashion face of the Caribbean's it was great!!

Anywho.. ive posted this question before in the car section but no responses...
Im in the states.. Im having a baby!!!! YAY!!! decided to have the baby here after coming into some problems there even with my trn number.. sigh.. long stry another time.

yet we will be returning soon after the baby is born.. I was just wondering and Ive been asking around other sources as well (a few of my friends out there) how hard is it to buy a good running car or van or truck with a budget of 3000. us.

Im catching up on all the other blogs.. .dont know if any one will remember me.

Congratulations! On the car thing, it depends where u live...u can get a good car for that price in NY or Phili...or u can try going to an auction, but u would need a dealer with an auction license.

Hi Princess, if I understand you correctly, you want to buy a decent car/van/truck in Jamaica for the Ja$ equivalent of 3,000 US (about JA$270,000). For that kind of price, the hardest part will probably be to find a vehicle that has been reasonably well maintained. If you have or can get a good mechanic, you might succeed. If not you will probably end up paying a higher price (maybe about 350,000-700,000).

Yeh thanks.. thats what i was meaning.. I hope I can find something for not that much... I seen some things in the gleaner and my friend got her car for 210,000 but a year later it had some problems... I guess we shall see..
