So as most people here,
Id love to move to Jamaica.
I know the livety pretty much, the way things are run.

But what I dont know, is other than working at a restaurant or hotel cleaning jobs.
How much do you get paid for nursing assistant?

What is it they need most in Jamaica.

But I dont* feel horrible in the aspect as being a white girl taking Jobs away from the people who need it.
I am waiting to finish my schooling here, than live with my Family there, and my Fiance.
Both my grandparents live there, my grandpas side of the family and Fiance live in Steertown/Mammee Bay, St.Anns.

He wants me to move there with him, He doesnt seem keen on moving in the cold.


I guess my main question is, is there any jobs for working with the elderly, or assistant in healthcare facilities.

Welcome to the board Irie! I don`t know anything about nursing there but its pretty much a necessary job so you might not have a problem. Wait til some Jamaicans come in this thread, they`ll know more.

My grandparents live right across from the Mammee bay villas.
My boy is down the street
and
The rest of the family is up in steertown.

I have a lot of Mammee Bay in my last trip report. Loved it.

Check the Gleaner I'd say. Also, make sure your qualifications there are valid.

There are nursing homes, and one used to be across from Breezes runaway Bay. Not sure if it still is or if they turned it into a guest house. You may be able to also find something with a private family in one of the larger estates. Such as Drax, if you want to stay in that area.
