an overseas serious move.. plz be patient

dudes thnx 4 ur interests. however i couldnt understand that why my thread was deleted ?

anyway, i really need help. we r movin to Ja, even death at the end.

snt it possible to find a family to live together? or find rental about 200-250$us.

i compare diff between a foreigner and a native one. so, in turkey a foreigner's able to live with an about minimum 1500$us income though min 500$us for a native.
that means in JA there should be a way similar to this. there should be some way to live maybe less then 500$us. snt it, natives?

of course this is directly connected with the city, town etc where u wanna live. what about this kind of modest cities?

so what re that vital tips?

and IrieStar, thanx dude nice 2 meet.

in addition we're good at informatics and software&hardware development. so cant make money with this occupation? in JA this two skilled work force famish, means cant earn any money?
and im a mathematical physicist that beleives in chaos, who is a specialist in calculations and formulas but im a man who knows the life enough to be able to give up the rest of everyting except movin to JA though a pre-earned career. c?

cant find any hearty people to help us?

sincerely...

yea the day's comin that we'll move desso. sep04th we'll move from istanbul to kingston.

then a sightseeing travel to montego bay via local bus etc...

i'll share what we meet on desso day by day in ETJ. hope, ll help people any who wanna move to JA in similar conditions.
mi nuh know anyone from JA and differ to carribbean culture. we'll c whether yawd hug us or not?
a teacher an a physicist.

but there're some similarities eg;
* some common cultural subjects depend on islamic trend.
* some common historical events with Ethiopians in the past (marks of Ottoman)
* sea cover not 4, but 3 side of us. (lol)
* and we turks, agreed that idiom 'dont worry, be happy' as a matter of fact.
* enjoy to black up (we,2)
* give everyting to live in pirates of carribbean timezone

yeah we may gather an article after publishin our daily logbook in here ETJ..

Re: an overseas serious move.. plz be patient

that's great..but did you contact the Ministry of Labour in regards to getting work permits yet? You can't work on the 3mth tourist visa you get at the airport. Your Jamaican employer will apply for a work permit on your behalf and the only way you will get a work permit here for the position applied for is if they can't find any local Jamaicans to fill the spot. I know this may sound confusing which is why I told you to call the Ministry of Labour and the Passport/Immigration office BEFORE you packed up and moved. Now, you may have done all this and just aren't saying it.....either way...good luck.

Re: an overseas serious move.. plz be patient

I hope we hear from this poster again..it's really not that simple to just up and move here...well, it is if you're married to a Jamaican

But for someone to come and live it's not easy. Getting a job is hard unless you have come connections and have a great skill that can't be found here. And opening a bank account is a royal pain in the ass. lol I have a stock of passport pics and my JP on speed dial! LOL
