Im a 16 year old male from the United States whos basically never even left my own town before.

My dad is finally able to retire and they always wanted to live in the bahamas but I have just found out that we are moving to JAMAICA!!!!!

Ive been a fan of Bob Marley for years and even though ive never been to jamaica ive seen pictures and videos and the island has always been a place id love to be.

This is very exciting for me I think were going to be living by the water.

What is Jamaica like? HOW CAN I MAKE FRIENDS? What will my future be like? I have a strong feeling i will never return to the USA because honestly i hate it there and jamaica just seems like one of the best places in the world!!!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MARIJUANA i smoke it all day everyday and in the United States Jamaica is known for its rAsTa ganja! Just how good is the weed? Its probably alot cheaper than in the states. IS IT LEGAL? Does everyone smoke it?

Im only 16 so i will be living with my parents but what kind of jobs are availible when i get older n need a career?

What are jamaicans like? they seem cool but wil i make friends easy? what is there to do in jamaica? around here in the US all u do is sort of sit around and smoke weed whats diferent in jamaica?

depends where u go... wha city yuh guyz movin to? yuh shud be okay... some cities are more dangerous... buh dun expect it to be like da states... a lot of parrish's are still developin.. Kingston is the main city, buh prolly most dangerous as well... New Kinsgston is safer, and seen as da more 'upper class' part... da's weh da new 'corporate jamaica' is developin...

if yuh go to ocho rios, there's a restaurant called "passage to india" or sumtin.. i kno da peepz dat own it.. i's owned by da family of sum1 who like family to me... ... mo-bay is nice n exotic... nah as fast-paced as Kingston...

buh... da 'ole a jamaica, beautiful weather all da time.. beautiful women beautiful music... and amazing fruit ...

Anyways Vibes, you should find out what town or city your parents are looking to retire to before we can give you the WHOLE picture of what there is to do there. Also I'm assuming you'll be spending a good chunk of your time in school so this should help in the "making friends" department. Once you make friends you'll automatically find things to do cuz your friends will be helpin you out with that.
