Re: ...CRASH...(the new one)

I loved Crash too. It doesn't matter who you are, or whether you dig the plot or not, it just makes you think hard about all the catch-22 situations involved in race relations.

One of the best things is that nobody in the picture was totally good or totally bad...no hero. Even the asshole cop has a sympathetic side, later on... and the good cop does something bad, etc. And Ludacris didn't do a half-bad job. Sometimes musical artists who are inexperienced actors stick out like sore thumb (i.e. Ja Rule, lol) but his part blended in pretty well. Ryan Phillipe seems to be growing up a bit too, lol.

My favourite actor in this one was Michael Pena, as the locksmith... he absolutely nailed that character cold; tonnes of emotion.

But my favourite line:
"What's your name?"
"Shaniqua Johnson"
"Shaniqua. Big f*cking suprise that is."
Matt Dillon played a wonderful racist ass, lol.

Re: ...CRASH...(the new one)

Matt Dillon seems to play characters now that I love to hate. When you ilicit that kind of emotion, you know he is a good actor.
